Christmas Time

I am sorry for my absence, but as everyone knows it is Christmas time and I haven't really had the chance to be like, oh yeah, must upload those Haikus. Sadly. I hope everyone has a lovely festive season, mine was quite nice really. I caught up with all my uni friends who came down, some other friends that have moved away and also got to have some nice family time. In short, I spent three days drinking and eating way too much.

I've also been working a lot at the moment because our boss has been off, so everyone else is picking up the slack. But in doing so, I now have a week to do a TMA (Tutor Marked Assignment) for my Creative Writing module, which kind of sucks. I have to a complete story of 2200 words and then a 500 word reflective commentary. Which is completely do able, there is just all the work from November that needs to be read/done so that the way I write is meant to be based off of that. If that makes sense.

For example, one of the chapters is about Character Development and we have to develop characters using different methods and then throughout the weeks, keep developing them.

So I've started, but not done some of the other stuff, like setting development and all that. I'm going up to London to see my sister tomorrow, so I'm planning to do a lot of stuff in the car and hopefully I can have it done. I will post the final piece when I receive it back from my tutor. As this is the policy about publishing uni things. 

I've almost finished The Hobbit, so they'll be a review of that soon and I've also just taken pictures of all my Haikus at the moment. So they're ready to go up. Might try and do like a week in photos thing, which is something I tried to do before just never got round to as I stopped taking as many photos as I used to at the end of the summer. Not really sure why but it's something I miss a lot. I'll be doing less hours soon, thank God, which means I can actually study and write and have copious amounts of free time to do all the wonderful things I've missed. 

Well that's all for the moment. Like I said, hope everyone's had a nice time, even if you're not a Christmas person (which I am not), it's nice to just chill! (:
